Stephen J. Smith, CPA
Stephen Smith is the owner and founder of Smith Tax CPA, LLC. Stephen graduated from Widener with
Magna Cum Laude honors in 2013 and won the Accounting Prize as the top accountant in his graduating class.
He has been in the public accounting field ever since, obtaining his CPA license in 2015.

- Stephen’s personal life is centered around his beautiful wife and children. He cherishes every minute with them.
- Stephen is also extremely close with his parents, siblings, and other extended members of his family.
- He prides himself on being a family man – family is truly everything to him!
- In Stephen’s free time he enjoys playing softball, trips to his beloved Pop’s mountain house, and family trips to OCMD.
Jeff Harris
Jeff is a staff accountant for Smith Tax and has numerous roles to help the firm complete projects. He prepares income, payroll, and sales tax returns, prepares 1099s, handles bookkeeping and accounting for the firm's business clients and various other tasks. Jeff has years of experience in the public accounting world. Jeff and Stephen have a longstanding working relationship, having worked 6+ tax seasons together over the years.
